Earlier, we reported to you that
Jay-Z will step down as President of Def Jam records. We’ve also just learned that Universal Music Group will announce that Jermaine Dupri is the new head of Def Jam Records. Dupree is currently the president of Island Urban music division, but he’ll move over to his new position as soon as Jay-Z steps down.
