Black Hollywood’s A-listers were all in attendance, but Halle Berry reigned supreme at the Second Annual Essence Women in Hollywood awards show at the Beverly Hills hotel.
The 42-year-old actress was one of three black actresses that were honored for helping to change and inspire positive images of Black women in television and film — both in front of the camera and behind-the-scenes.
Other celebrities at the event included Quincy Jones, Sanaa Lathan, Samuel L. Jackson, Garcelle Beauvais, Kerry Washington, Taraji P. Henson, and Tatyana Ali.
